Kangaroo Island - Updates

22-23/08/2008 @ Victor Harbour & Kangaroo Island Exploration
Poor Misty

Bridge from Victor Harbour to Granite Island

On the SEALINK big ferry...
We were halfway to Kangaroo Island!

YHA - Our place for overnight...

Our dinner when we reached there...

The best food that we can find when we reached there...

Super BIG 16 inches PIZZA!!!

Seal Bay

Countless sheeps along the way...

The windmills

Wanna fight?
One of the cows was pee-ing actually.. wakaka..

Clifford's Honey Farm
(We thought of seeing bees and tasting honeycomb...
But, we saw no bees, no honeycomb... kinda disappointed..)

Anyway, there were still lots of honey for sale.

And the most wonderful thing was: we got to taste the so called famous
HONEY ICE CREAM!!!

Bee King (Sharon) & Bee Queen (Yvonne)

Where were they moving to?

The best place after so long travelling!!

Guess where's that?
Saudi Arabia?

In fact, it's Little Sahara!!
Cool~

Mooray Bay? Vivionne Bay?
(not sure..)

Listening to other people describing it until indescribable..

End up like this..
(Nothing much different from normal beach I guess..)

Kelly Hill Caves
A place where most of the trees were striked by the lightnings!

I thought we're going to have something like Gua Tempurung caving..
But.. it just a small tour and description about the cave.
A cave which sensed the earthquake in Si Chuan.

Stalagmit.. S... forgot all the historic names..

Stone?
A popular place to go.. just for seeing stones..

Another stone?
The main part of Kangaroo Island!

Historical Stone in Kangaroo Island

Push push!

Power firing~

Half dry half green.. It's specialty..

No more seals at Seal Bay?
Look for more here..
(Admiral’s Arch - New Zealand Fur Seal Breeding Area)

What's that?

What's these? Stones again?

Zoom in and see!!!

It's a seal!!!
Besides sleeping, still sleeping..

What's he doing?

Seal attack!!!

Nice view where seals were found..

Trip ended here under the light house..

Our pity car after the long way of dirt road..
Time to wash the car!!

24/08/2008 @ Hahndorf German Village

These were what we had before the gang went back to Melbourne.

**************************************
Again, it's a wonderful trip on the little island of about 4,000 people.
It's a good experience to have a drive on the whole island,
reading the map,
searching for ways,
asking for directions,
seeing dead kangaroos,
chasing the guard dog,
counting the sheeps,
staring at cows...
it's small yet adventurous!

Either taking a long way to go to another spot
OR
remain at the same spot and always meet up with the same people.

Dirt road OR main road?

Aim for excitement OR dull?

It's a kind of decision making trip.

**************************************
Life is short yet up and down.
It's full of decisions which are going to be made.
What kind of life do you want?
Are we going to move on or stopping there?
Make your own decision..

For me, I'd rather say that I'm proud because..
I felt secure in the pity CRV..
and I just have to be a full time PIG along the way.
Also, having a chance to know each other more,
a chance to know who's the snoring king,
(luckily there's no snoring queen),
a chance to get closer to each other..
making the trip reaching the fullest!
Thanks for the exciting trip..
Full of satisfaction..
